^ Maybe it's true or maybe it's not, but from what I've read on other boards, RB has been thought of as been lacking in the talent department for a while now, even before the new RB was created. It's sort of like a stigma that is attached to the name. Some has said that rapbattles.com never bounced back to the level rapbattle.com was, but I wouldn't know since I wasn't here that far back. I'm willing to bet that strobe and Cprogress will probably end up spinning this board off to a completely new name and identity and leaving behind the other or putting it up for sale. The idea of having two boards on one domain is kind of lame as whatever image the original RB has around the net, it carries over to the new one.
Also I've been following the board stats at the bottom of the main page of both sites and new RB is about to overcome the old RB's total number of members after falling behind by several hundred at the start. The real question is, if the site never split, will the original RB be considered wack as they will have had all the new members instead of this one? |
