well, actually if you think yuo can check IP's and you mean the numbers on the top right of a post, that is not yo IP. I forgot what it was, but a lot of people have the same. ME and L.I. have the same one cuz we both use AOL. Like all AOL are like the same. or somethin' like that. the only people who can do IP checks are the admins, and amybe the mods. But other than that, it isn't possible to check them

also, to answer the question of this thread, a lot of people do that so they don't get bullshit votes. I do it to. Cuz I HATE battlin' on frontlines, cuz people jus drop like 2 to 3 line votes. that's not explained. and the people who usually do this votin' are...newbies. So whenever I have a battle in frontlines, I always put the post minimum to 100 or 200, cuz then there's a less chance of some newb comin' and doin' some gay ass vote against me.

what I'm sayin is. Don't battle sum one wit 10 posts an put a 200 post poll vote limit.
