i agree with everyone who said they cant write with music playing in the background coz i will end up using the words i hear and it just puts me off. i also agree with writing to instrumentals i think u get better flow that way plus its good to rap ya lyrics to the beat.

yo when I wanna make something sick I listen to a sick song...
like if Im in the mood to do some crazy freestylin and pretend Im ripping someone then i'll listen to some krunk songs like "got urself a gun" or "in da club" or "breathe", basically something crazy... then when im in the mood to do something mellow i listen to something like "dear mama" or "juicy" or some soft rap...u know what am saying... and apart from some of u...when I wanna write something crazy the best way for me is to listen to someone elses music at the same time, that way when they say something in their lyrics they inspire me to say something sick too...  I dont know "that's just the way it is"...(instead I see no changes...lol) |
