I hardly pray actually, only when something bad has happened to me, the ones close to me or people everywhere (cfr. the tsunami disaster or 9/11). I promise to be a better person myself then if He helps out the others...

I have my own way of believing, I don't read the bible for instance. But if I'm struggling, I usually go to my grandmother's grave and talk to her and to God...It's a way of praying to I guess...

I pray for family and friends all the time, i pray for those people that hate my guts in reality, i pray that i can stop fist fighting BOYS, i wish some people weren't in pain therefore i pray for them too, some people on this site that told me some deep issues i pray for them EVERY single night.. I pray to God that when there isn't any trials going on, so when i get to the "trial" stage i already feel confident God would pull me through.. You don't have to get ostentatious with it, you can pray in your time.. if you don't think there is a God, i already prayed for you since i was a lil' shorty.. so smile

What does praying actually do, hardly anything at all. Unless you pray then think, wait I can do that shit myself, then go out and do it, and be like 'God Gave me the power to buy this water!' Some shit like that.

I rarely pray, mainly because I dont think you can actually talk to god like that, if there even is a god, the whole praying concept is pointless.

lol, I see where your comin from, but praying for things like relationships, also, really is down to willpower.

I do agree that praying might help, but only because when someone prays for that thing, they believe god will help them and they have a better attitude towards it and sometimes help the situation themselves.

the only way I'd change my views is if something unexplainable happened.

Like, I pray for a new house, and that same day, I get a new house, lol, I dunno, but see what I mean tho?

Aight here's something unexplained i wasn't tryna get into this right now but oh well.. this guy who's 90+ years and has not been able to walk for a large amount of years attended a Revival (where a preacher has a service outside).... Aight he COULD NOT walk.. his legs look like those people in the movies and on tv, except this was up close and personal.. My preacher touched this dude and started speakin in tounges- other people started speakin in tounges also, then my preacher told us all to pray out loud which we all did.. then he's like "aight you released from this bondage you been in.." the guy looked at him like my preacher was crazy.. My preacher then said Stand Up, your legs are fine.. This dude 90+ years known to be in a wheelchair the majority of his life, he got up and walked around. I was like mayne, God is good, he works wonders.. same for somebody that was in the hospital. and the reason people die.

What we think is natural cuz we human. People don't die cause they deserve it or God let them, and certainly NOT because people pray for them and it wasn't successful. When people die, they are supposed to, as harsh as that sound that is the truth. Dying isn't what everyone thinks it is. I can honestly say that i go to bed and talk to God and when i ask him something, he lets me know what's up in His time, NOT mine.. Even when i prophesy God guiding me.. So i'mma let him do what He gotta do to help me be mo' like Him.. I can lie down my whole life story in this forum and tell y'all what I've been thru and what not.. Like how I have seen spirits walk around, and I ain't crazy and I know half y'all will be like No that's not humanly possible. But because I am who I am, I expect that... as well as me fighting demons in a spiritual realm----that would go RIGHT past the majority of y'all heads, y'all wouldn't understand the gyst of that if i told you in 20 languages you knew already.. English over and over again.. But I'm proud of who I am, and certain things that people don't understand are what make me what you can call unique.. Yes, I see dead people walkin sometimes lol... Nothing's weird to me, too use to it all.
