Nintendo have sold more units in japan and north america,...

But north american psp sales are catching up to the DS real quick and the psp hasnt even been released in europe and australia.

I got that from an interview done with the President of Nintendo Japan in Electronic Gaming Monthly...issues back before the DS was even realeased.

No actually they said something other than the DS...they claimed that the DS was NOT the next Game Boy...just something on the side. So basically...PSP is competing with something that isn't even a successor to the Game Boy =\...

Cos its real wierd that all of the no. 1 information sources and die-hard nintendo fans say absolutely nothing about that, and the source is an interview published in a magazine almost a year ago..
