Well, 50 cent is my elder does that mean I should respect him? From what you are saying I should. I respect those who wrote the truth and didn't do rap to just make money. (Selling off gimmicks, selling out, etc...) I respect certain people. But then like I said, respect is mutual. When blacks will respect white people, white people will do the same.
