producers kyd!!...seriously though, producers are msot important cuz you gotta have beats for people to spit or sing on  you need a good little bunch of them 1st and make sure they do different styles, you don't want producers that only sample, it's mundane and will cost you to clear samples and shit anyway... nah I'm not tryina sign anyone, not tryina start a label, I'm on a start-up label here in Houston and the CEO and I talk a lot and he gave me a list of books he's been reading and red me some parts when we talk on the phone N what-not so I know a little more than most online about the music industry  P.S. no you can't have the list of books and don't ask ThaQ for it cuz he won't give it to you either LOSER!! lol

I dont' help many people, I only give info like this to people worthy of it that I know will use it, not just give it to some peon so they can know but never USE the shit...besides, some people shouldn'th ave the advantage of the information...some people need to go through the hardships of trial and error just becuase they THINK they know everything and really don't... yes, I'm spiteful in that way

I'll say this one time: RECOUPABLE!!! NOTHING and I mean NOTHING is free. If you don't know what re-couping means, thne go buy a music law book (I suggest "The Business of Music") instead of asking kids on the internet with no record deals/labels/affiliations what the best advice is.

I think he was just asking people what they would want from a label if they were looking to get signed.....like if there was something specific they would want. I think he's got i pretty much covered though......except the fact that I wouldn't want to hire another person to get me deals and shit when I'm already paying a lot to the Indie Label. I think that I would want to go to one place to manage everything.

A Music law book would be the bare minimum. This would be a typical contract for an indie label which is not much at all like a mainstream contract. But of course Q is far too ignorant to ever directly ASK me for anything or actually say "wow, good looks". What do I know? lmao.
