My thoughts are in English, and therefore they abide by how something is pronounced in English. I don't know about you, but I don't think in text, so when I read it, it adheres to normal rules. Hard to explain, but you know what I'm saying.

It sounds different, it doesn't matter if it's text. Forced. Does bat sound like bait? No. So comma doesn't sound like coma without being forced or said with an accent.
