Yeah, and I understand that, which is why I'd be getting 9 people, and only 9 people, to vote for each category. The people will differ depending on the kind of peice it is, but if I can get 5 or more people in each category who are not swayed by instant messengers and friends, then this could work. I need people who are honest and won't just vote for the people they think are good. I think I could find at least 5 people in each category who wouldn't be a queer about it.

And ^ that's the primary difference with my idea and RV Awards. ANYBODY can vote on the RV Awards, which, as stated in my original thread, leads to wrong peices getting in and people getting something they don't deserve. If I can take instant messengers out of the equation, I really think this could work out well. The key is going to be picking the right people to vote on the given categories, and I'll keep editing the list until I make sure that it's as honest as possible.

Oh, I thought you were talking about something different. I'm not planning to buy people something for posting up a good peice. If you need a prize to be good you probably shouldn't be on this site. But, if you want to contribute something, by all means. .

Theres gonna be people whos expectations of whats considered dope on this site are so low that anyone comming in and seeing what type of crap is posted in the hall of fame are just gonna laugh their ass off...

See its not just about friends voting.. Its about cats on this site who honestly think they got skill when they dont.. And people on this site often have a warped sense of whats dope and whats not.. So you'll only end up getting a bunch of people mentioned that just wouldnt cut it anywhere else but on this website....

Yeah, RV is behind compared to other sites. Whatever, though. With the RV Awards being a mockery anyway, I don't see how it's not worth a shot to get a legit forum going. It's not like I could make the forum any less of a joke then what the RV Awards have already accomplished. Yah mean?
