thats the one that i have....
and for a 300 dollar condensor...its no good... but...i do believe u have an mxl 990.....?.. itd be fine for that... preamps actually power the mic...and determine the volume that comes out of it...and it has a lot to do with clarity... for me..i have a nice mic....shitty preamp...so i dont get anywhere near the clearness out of my mic as what i could....so ima have to upgrade soon... word
