phew...for a second there, I was worried when you said that you were taking a year off. Sometimes when people do that, they never go back to school. But, it's tyte that you're going to the audio engineering school. Sounds like fun, actually.

During my senior year of college, I got the flu and was in the hospital for a week. I ended up missing 2 weeks of school. When I got back, I struggled so much trying to catch up, that the Dean asked me if I wanted to take the rest of that semester off. I thought about it for literally 1 second and said, "NO". NO WAY...lol...

word, I know how that feels. kinda like when you come back from summer, it takes awhile to adjust to everything, thankfully high school usually starts off slow those times, but it would be pretty bad if I just took a year off and just chilled. PLUS, I'm plannin' on attending a 4 yr college after this is done, so just taking a year off wouldn't look good on application, but with this I can show them that I was actually workin' hard at something, so it'll look good.

but iunno I most prolly will be doing this, or my uncle said he could get me an internship at Def Jam or G-Unit Records. He's 29 in NJ and he's starting up his own label. (G.U.M. : Global Urban Music, I think). And he used to intern at aftermath, and he said pay isn't great, but the contacts you can make are tight. Like he saw MYa, Dre, Eminem all them come in everyday, and he got invited to their V.I.P. sections in their party. So if he can hook me up with that, i'd prolly do that on my break. But eitherway, I wanna stay active at something but at same time i want it to be music related.

Technically we are supposed to have them on us at all times, because any authority figure can come up and ask for it and if we can't show it to them then we can get thrown out of school.

I've never heard of them asking yet.

Absolutely...Cuz, you'll never recapture that time in your life of just kickin back with your friends and acting crazy at a frat party...

College tends to make you idealistic. So, when you get out in the "real world", that idealism sometimes evolves into realism and cynacism. I think that's part of the yearning for going back to college or reliving those days.


College rocks though...It's expensive as hell.

lol,, im a freshman and so i was ready to bang but i was also lookin forward to the senior prank...people ran thir mouths so a lot of the ideas were ruined....at first, they were gonna get allt he sprklers inside the school to set off but then the principal heard about it and had them temporarily shut off....then he had the parking lot blocked and the school store (rumors about them trashing cars and mixing alcohol with the slushies)....there were also rumors that they were goin to fill up ballons with mustard and ketchup and nail people as they left for the buses but they ended up throwin them on the cars in the MIDDLE school since it was guarded....not too great but ehh

I'm a senior now.
Just one more year!!
