Canibus... Canibus...

There is no mistaking he is the best lyricist to grace the mic. But it really depends on what you consider good lyrics. Is it lyrics that flow? Lyrics that sound cool when you rhyme them? Lyrics with meaning?

Basically nobody can touch canibus when it comes to complex rhyme schemes, advanced wordplay and metaphors (often that need research to get what hes talking about) and an ability to make basically any word rhyme, because of the way his voice is. Plus the freestyles he spits that arent pre written are fire.

In that sense, he is the best lyricist.

Best MC? Well, what is an MC? Is an MC a lyricist, or is an MC somebody who can rock a crowd?

Canibus probably couldnt rock a crowd better than snoop or like 50 cent or whatever. But what he lacks in diversity, he makes up with insane complexity and intelligence behind his music. Plus his flow is ill, if youre into that kind of flow.
