If you listen to your own shit you hear 100 times more mistakes than someone else, that's because only you know exactly what you were going for, other people can't really tell like that, so I understand.

I listen to my shit sometimes, other times I can't stand it because it represents me when I wasn't as good as I am now. Dig?

Definitely I always listen to my shit, I also like to listen to my oldest shit and listen to my newest shit and look like yeah damn how much ive improved and then I can jus think years from now lookin back at the audio I jus done and saying DAMN haa naw im mean playa, and then the best shit when other people sayin yo verse like people at school be rappin my verse n shit...thats one of the best feelings ever apart from sex haha...so def nd yeah I have to listen to my influences, millz, papoose, mook, jay z, nas, pac, BIG, Big L...they on my playlist every day at the gym and on the train to work/school...nah mean

I put shit on CD's then listen to it while Im driving than switch to the radio real quick to compare.....

It's also fun to listen to like month old shit....cus alot of the time I be like wtf was i doin? That's garbage!
