Oh, and I agree with you on the first post, but a lil. I don't care if you underground or mainstream. If you hot, I'ma knock you. It just so happens though, that I like mainstream more though, only because all the Underground music I heard so far is just lyrics. Anybody can make a hot 16, but can you make a hot track? If I want to hear lyrics all day I'd just listen to freestyles or acapellas. So I listen to mainstream. At least I get that combo of lyrics/a good song. That's why most (if not all) underground rappers can't go mainstream. They can't do both.

I've listend too a lot of underground rap and Apathy as well as about 20 other people had reall dumbed down lyrics i think that you just appreciate them more cuz there not known so you can relate too it more or ur just an ignorant cunt lol as nos would say.......and they talked about cars and bitches and hoes.........through out the whole song....and dont say "well you dont understand it thats why you dont listen too underground" i do understand it....there topics are just as plain as mainstreams topics....u just hate cuz "its mainstream"......so next time you say mainstream glorfies "hoes and cars" too much then go and listen too some more underground rap and reealize they do it too

i dont know what underground heads you listen to, but the majority of who i listen to dont talk about the shit mainstream talks about all the time 24/7, they may include it in a track or 2, but i dont listen to those tracks, and i dont hate mainstream just because its mainstream i listen to nas and older eminem, and he was mainstream at the peak of his skill so i dont hate mainstream at all i just hate the artists in it there shouldnt be a gap between underground and mainstream there shouldnt be any labeling but thats what its come to because almost all of mainstream is one type of music these days, its come down to where its not about lyrics anymore thats what i care about, when you got artists who are selling more cuz they got more 'ice' instead of better rhymes, THATS what i dont like about mainstream these days and you're just dense as hell if you cant see that

Considering I use to listen to them, ya I would never understand.

I use to listen to those kind of rappers, then I started to listen to more underground kats and I like it better. You can't hate on UG for doing what they do, cuz then you are doing the same thing you hate. I like underground cuz it makes me think and I connect more to it then these people goin 'yo, look at twenty fos as im pimpin the hoes, the hood is the best place for pimpin those hoes'
