^ man you shouldnt be so critical... but, its basically more like a team than a label... there are only like 4 (5 now) active artists signed to Phokis Records, and they got their own recording studio, but the thing is because its all artists (the leading artist owns the label/studio) they arent trying to make profit for the label at this point... artists keep 100% of the sales they make off of albums, and we get free time in the studio of course to put those albums out... |

Obviously if their not taking any percentage of the profits, what they do for you is going to be extremily limited and any promo will obviously come out of your budget.. So as it would turn out, you may actually never make a cent from these guys... Let alone actually get anywhere... Like I said, I'm happy for you.. But I'm concearned you might get caught out on a bit of a dodgy scam that wont do you any good.... |
