a topic league is SURELY about who flips the TOPIC/subject matter... by limiting beats - ur restricting, individual style/flow/delivery and you are restricting creativity...how are you encouraging creativity by limiting it so much...its like saying paint a masterpiece but you can only use one colour.

I feel what you say...but before you go any further....I dont just pick the beats my self....Im not that stupid...I have a thread there where if you PM me...I'll give you shit to put your own beats down into a sc I opened just for the league. Now if you either want to upload a track there or just use another beat then thats up to you. The reason for both battlers having the same beat....is not to restrict you, but to do the opposite and try and get you to do shit you wouldn't normally get on just becouse it might not be your thing. Or the type of shit your best at. Ive done it before with my producers and it helps me become a better writer because Ive openned myself to new shit besides the regular my streets is this and that gangster shit nah mean.

sall good... i see what your saying and all...... and you do have somewhat of a point... so maybe .... the beats shouldnt be assigned every week.... maybe every other... or only in special battles.... or times of comp.... to make shit more interesting... but.... the point as Wordz said was to make niggas come wit shit outside the box.... try new things... the league aint even off the ground yet... but keep your suggestions/comments/ concerns coming.... cuz you shouldnt be making " throw away" tracks.... you know.... these joints you'll be producing on a weekly basis should be something your feeling... so... to say that... is like... why bother makin a track .. you know...?? i feel you though.... and keep in mind... the league is under construction.... but feed back like what you gave is much needed.... and appreciated stay up Acuity
