^^Yea...well, I had this discussion with a co-worker yesterday. There's something called "taking bacl" or "adopting" words that were once negative. It's like gay people taking the derogatory term "fag" back and using it as endearment. Some blacks do the same with the word nigga.

actually, i'm half white. i've been called a cracker more than i've been called a nigger. hell, even a few unique racial slurs. i can tell you which one hurt the most.

but...this is a non issue. do you get offended? sure. does it have the same depth, resentment or history that "nigger" does?
