the whole entire thing is just pathetic..its not like im on peoples side saying they should say it but if its banned then it contradicts the freedom of speech and atleast when a person is racist they can come upfront with it but now your banning people from expressing themselves so how the hell are we supposed ta know what people is thinking..it starts with one word that has somewhat of a good reason then it goes to another word and another word and before we know it we cant say shit and we have no freedom of speech..bet u after they see how effectless this is then there IS gonna be a penalty like a fine or something its gonna branch out and get worse. but we wont care cuz by then we'll be used to it from the slow approach they used on us ta make us believe its not that big of a deal

Wow....just so you guys know, they are trying to desensitize the word. They aren't trying to control your freedoms, they're just asking for the support of the communities that are not racist to take the word out of all vocabularies so future generations won't even know the meaning of the word, and therefore stop usining it

^^exactly they are trying to gradually deplete the word from existence...they know the weight this word carries and they are trying to downgrade it to the point where people just don't care to use it. i go to a mostly black university and i can't go 5 minutes without hearing the word from someone around campus...

its going to be hard o get people not to say it...becuase this word is running through peoples veins......people say it and don't even know they are saying it and it just brings up more problems..for example from a white persons perspective..."well, if they can identify themselves by it..then maybe i can identify them by it and myself as well"
