I'm older than mountains, rivers and land forms,
yet younger than children to be born tomorrow.
I saw the sun form.
I saw rocks, gases, energy and time create your race.

When past future and present were one,
I was writing haiku in a field of flowers under the sun,
and raindrops fell upwards,
and clouds blew backwards and forwards simultaneously.
The poem I wrote on a pad of rice paper that didn't exist,
with the long feather of a bird whose egg was made of soil,
dipped in ink ground from an ink stone that was half unearthed minerals
and half absence of human toil, read:

Dear father and son,
my age is now and never.
Sincerely, no-one.
