I've noticed more underground shit is monotone than commercial. Typically the reason the rappers are mainstream are because of their Delivery+Flow. But this shit is pretty boring, like it really didn't bring me into it. Delivery is something you want to work on if you're trying to something commercial. Flow was okay, but you should def work on quality and delivery. That's the biggest thing.

cassidy aint monotone, montone means lifeless and one steady tone instead of expression and shit. Very few rappers can pull monotone off, Guru from gangstar and tuna fish from jurrassic 5 are the only I can think of right now. Im not saying you are doing this but most people don't speak like that, it comes out when your reading or thinking real hard about it, memorizing and relaxing helps. Find your own style what works with your voice and your breathing capabilities, really the only thing that will help it is practice.

First verse, lyrics were nice. Flow was on and off. Some parts nice, others a little off. Delivery tho too monotone. I don't think that kind of delivery fits this beat.

Second verse, lyrics coo here, but in end you def had way too many words per lines cuz you were rushing shit. And it just came out bad.

Third verse was better than 2nd, but not as good as first.

Haha you know how I do, Shadowville got some cool shit... but yea, I had the chorus pre-thought out before hearing the beat, I looked through so many beats I could beat hook too and this was best I could find cuz I got tired of lookin, and this beat was hot too. And yea end of my 2nd verse when im like "I hit a clear bong while all of my peers watch" I get the dubbs off so it makes the flow sound funky, and I do rush a bit. But word, this shit only 6th track ive done and its already drastically better then my old shit so im happy bout it even tho it aint amazing
