Have you heard of the word 'opinion'? Yeah, everyones entitled to them. My cause is not to stop immigration altogether, get real it's not possible how the fuck do you think my family got here? I'm half Ethiopian and half Filipino, I'm first generation American citizen. Immigration is not the issue.

Yes I can pick and choose what I get involved in, especially if it doesn't affect me. I'm strongly against the psychological drugging of children, but I'm not against drugging for medicinal purposes. Your statement stated that I would have to be against both... "all or nothing", and that's a ridiculous idea that an activist is an all or nothing, in fact this proves you have no idea about activisim (if you need more detail let me know, I can break it down for you). This thread isn't even an activist issue. I didn't post this to rally a party so we can protest, I wanted to see how many were aware, and as far as it seems not alot. I really don't give a fuck, people will probably read this and think "that sucks" and not give two shits about it. But I know theres that small percentage, Prophiit and Bounce who do care.That's life. I know this thread doesn't appease the masses, but I don't appease the masses, I go against the grain not because I like to, but because what I believe and what I feel makes me a minority, I'm straight with that.

And I think majority of those who attend some educational instituiton can feel the affect. At San Diego state this semester they weren't accepting transfer students. The school is full, how would you feel if you tried to attend willing to pay a pretty dollar, but someone else is in your spot for free? this is what I mean, immigration has nothing to do with it, it's are governments way of thinking and when I say government I mean the people.

all that comes out of your mouth is 'America' this 'Americans' that. You must have some deep seeded issues with America cause thats all you ever post about, never focusing on the topic at hand. The topic here is free education to those who are not citizens, how does it effect you? It doesn't... well then get over yourself. I'm not even going to debate on the foreign aid topic (especially cause its not related to this thread).. another time and place.

believe Bounce, I was all over it I'm not keeping my mouth shut. I'm still dumbfounded that they refused to print my story. But the truth is I'll make all the noise, but if only one person is screaming they're are going to be passed up. I will however, let them hear me and make my feelings none... Not only publicly, but when I vote. Remember those who did this were voted INTO office by the people. Yes, Davis' way of thinking has drastically changed and without evidence of support, only to please the majority. Thats why we cannot vote him into office again, if he changes stances mid-term how strong are his values and ideas?

For the record, my 'all or nothing' comment does not mean you have to be for everything, or against everything... you make your own judgement on the subject, as is your right. My point is you cant choose to only give a shit about issues that directly affect you in a negative way.. especially if you want others to get involved...



I know one of the biggest problems Australia has, and I suspect America also.. isnt ignorance, its apathy. People are aware of the issues, but just dont care enough until its an issue that affects them directly. They arent blind, just indifferent.

1) We are a republic, not a democracy.

2) I'd rather this country be isolationist then imperialist.

3) Maybe this bill being passed is actually a devious trap mastermind by the US government to lure illegal aliens in going to colledge and then nabbing them during class ala MIB style kidnapping.

4) Maybe they figure they just want people to actually know what they are doing when their grapes are being picked.

Jes, I do believe and I have respected your intellect since you became a member here on RB, I have a daughter and I am raising her to be aware and active. It's young ladies such as yourself that I would love to expose her too, so yes I do blieve you will makle a conscious stand against the powers that be. Not all politicains are corrupt, but with the pressure of a corrupt special interest group pushing thier agenda on the system, any one of these politicians can be manipulated. I just hope you can understand my postion on this and all the issues for that matter. I may be young but I am not ignorant to the small yet significant changes introduced into our way of life. They are the run way for everything horrible to follow. We need to out smart and out voice the enemy within, as I like to call them. They are using our own culture and short commings against us, to push thier own idoelogies on our system. What we have seen in Californis Jes, is just the beginning, we have not yet scratched the surface. I will be down in Chula Vista next week for a defense briefing, I was scheduled to do some recruiting at your school, and also talk to the engineering students who want to apply for a summer internship. I will try to get a feel for the mood of the genreal population in school, to use in an essay for the free republic news. I do this only because it does affect us, even if we do not see it or feel it today, it's going to be a major pain in the future. I owe it to my daughter and youth every where to fight for something that may not affect me now, but will damage thier lives later. I will get back to this thread later, I have to earn a living for now. Much repsect Jes, please don't lose that fire...
