The Thing your missing is, only the improved things go noticed. Of course people want better TV's, Stereo's and Computers. But that doesnt mean to say nothing new was invented. It just goes un-noticed next to the things we call everyday items now. 50 years from now People may be using things that just got thought up ths year, or were only invented on a small scale in one country. Noone knows.
But new things are constantly being invented, and constantly being improved, and those things will become a world standard Just like Television and Radio.

In all fairness technology hasn't really gone anywhere, all we seem to do
is make things more compact but the same idea remains. Technological advancement are things like the light bulb, televison, radio waves... other then the internet what have we done ? We put a man on the moon arguably ? why hasn't anyone been back ? Why haven't we sent more probs to Mars ? if we know this planet is in decline why aren't we searching for a new home ? The way forward is nano techology, making things out of matter and atoms. I see this as a scientific advancement but why don't our govenments spend more money researching it ? |
