I can't even explain why he is soo great, just a given....
He pionnered a lot of new things into rapping, he had fun, had a bad boy image, had the feel good songs, had good messages in some of his songs.

In fact I have heard only two of his cd's (2pacalypse now, and Strikly 4 my Niggaz) and they are str8 dope. I remember listening to them when the rap crap hit the roof. HE makes you think when he raps and he is a smart rapper with brains and street smarts.

One song that blew my mind really was "96 Bonnie and Clyde" (Gay-z tried a remix with Beyonce) I listened to the whole song twice and was hooked, and then it took me a couple more listens to realise that HE WAS TALKING BOUT HIS GUN. I was like SHIT everything he said could go either way
Lines like: "I love finger fucking you" and "Never leave me alone, you turned my house into a happy home"

Gay-z bitched the song up I really reccomend you download it. VEry nice with ambiguos meanings that make you think...

Another big thing was he lived and died for music, he new it was gonna happen to. He spent all his time making tracks that were released after he died, he had songs predicting his death, everyhting. Then you look at Biggie and they couln't even put together 2 cd's when he died...

pac was a politically conscience inner-city individual, talented enough to place his thoughts, in a variety of bars and hooks. he spoke of elevation of the poverty stricken, ghetto youths. From guns and hennesy, to changing their views of Life, beyond the glitz and glamour of the "hood", in their eyes.
As in money, cars and hoes, to having a say in today's political endeavors. He stood for the poor people, who are stereo-typed, every single day. His claims were, just because we do criminal activities... and live poor.. doesn't mean, we should be outcasted, out of society. We have a say, in the world, and we should be heard. Most commit crime, because they have no choice.

that's why i hold pac in high regards.
