well i know young people who have been through alot and incorporated it into their poetry/topical pieces.. its all about their mindset.. you can be 15 with a mindset of a 30 year old. Me on the other hand have been through personal problems but i dont incorporate them much into topicals... more into poetry and open mics. but its all about your mindset... anyone can look in a dictionary and get words that are big and descriptive... but a true topical writer, needs no dictionary, all aspects of topicals are already set into their mind, and the emotion is also embedded into their minds before hand... you cant become a topical writer with the same mentality of a text writer, because basically it wont be good...


anyways dabatos is good at topical wether he's had hardships or not, but then again does that mean he's true to his word... because if i get a deep topical piece about something i've been through i'll put my heart into it... its all about your mindset
