I hate the concept of death because I know that if there is nothingness afterwards I feel no matter what legacy you make, you can't experience it so there really is no reason not to go on a killing spree because it wouldn't matter what you do. I'd love for there to be a form of consciousness after death, but there is always the fear that everyone goes to some horrible place like Hell and there is no Heaven or higher plain other than suffering, or else somehow when we get buried we are conscious and stare at the lids of our coffin for eternity even if our brain has shut down. Shit like that is annoying, thinking that you could be trapped in the confines of your body and unable to do anything but think for eternity.

"Sleep is the cousin of death."

Thats what I picture death as. Just a long sleep... you arent concious of when you fall asleep or when you are asleep, its probably the same.

That Just Got Me thinking. I remember someone raising a point about your life flashing before your eyes when you die, and what if right now you are jut living that flash.

What if right now we are dead. We are asleep, or however you think of it. This could be one of many 'dreams' that we can never wake up from.

I'm pretty terrible at putting down what im thinknig into words at this time in the morning, but yeh.

that's a pretty strange thought, weird....but there's really nothing you can do, and that's also disturbing...like, if you are dead, life is flashing, then maybe you might die soon, but what can you do, its like, a friggin cycle of madness....ahhh

When you think about it. Re-living your life in the flash before death is everlasting. Because it all leads up to the point when you die, and your life flashes again, and you re-live it.

The only plausible reason to be scared of death is becuase it is unknown.

It's the same basic principle of someone bieng scared of the dark. ou dont know whats there. There is nothing to tell us what happens when we die, therefore people fear it. They try to stay alive for as long as possible to escape the unknown.

Thats why Make Up is so succesful. Women wear make up to look younger. Its all psychological, the younger you are the further away from death you are, if you look younger, you feel younger, therefore feeling further away from death.
