When you hear stuff like a gun shot/helicopter etc, that aint an ad lib. When you say a word at the end of a bar to back it up, or somehing to do with whatever you just said. thats an ad lib.

Depends how ou talk. If your overdubbing in the studio, it has to with bus the signal coming through one channel to another channel, and overdubbing it. That 'Yeeaaaah' Is Young Jeezy's version of ad libs. If you rap it allagain its overdubbing, but picking a word and sayin shit about it. Thats adlibs.
