Most/all of the mainstream rappers don't completly write their own shit anyway. I mean damn have you ever looked in the album booklets lately? It always says "writen by: Rapper, someguy,another guy". Having ghostwriters and biting are the exact same thing.

Jay Z has spit 10000000000 of lyrics. Focusing on a few--relatively speaking--that he "borrowed" and not giving him credit for writing the other 1000000000 lyrics is reaching. The fact is, Jay Z's voice is the one you hear rapping those hot ass verses. The man can flow. And, unlike most heads on RV, I happen to be a fan of flow. Lyrics are important, obviously. But, I could give a shit about how "deep" someone THINKS they are when their flow is trash.


Deep is a matter of opinion anyway


What you all consider "deep" I may consider routine, and vice versa.
