nah american hip hop isnt gay cos there is some mad sick shit from america, but, the uk isnt into the same simple bullshit as much as america is.. i mean ye its starting to get that more mainstream vibe as far as beats and maybe even hooks go, but i dnt see that many mans dumbing down they lines for it, which is heavy really.

and i hate narrowminded people who dnt like anything but they own country... a country that wud exist if it wasnt for europe, i mean i listen to music from all over, america, canada, us, germany, france... u get the picture.

i love the UK accent for spittin, the australian one sounds wierd as hell to me, but if the skills are evident and the song in general is good... ill listen despite the accent.

so anyways, about what Nos said, personally, i think rap battling could be like a "sport" type thing. i like to battle for fun. if i REALLY got mad beef wit someone, then i make a diss, but when i battle in person, its not really bc i hate tha kid. i do get serious when i battle tho and talk about evil and mean(yes, mean) stuff, but i think battling is just a fun thing to see who's the better battle emcee. you cant have a complete emcee that cant battle rap. to me, a real emcee isnt just someone who talks about "real shit in the streets..." its more like, the person who makes the next step at making rap an ART style. and thats what i try to do when i relate to rap.
