I've had "Reach" K.O'ed in this battle for at least a week now and it's still open. Any way to lock it down?

The battle isn't listed as being 3-0 KO-able in the rules. If you can get the guy to post here to close it with the win for you, it can be KO'ed

I counted 8 bars.. some of the lines are longer, and is noted by the extra ...........'s . And in the last part of the verse, a comma was used at "damage" to signify that there is not the end of the line

what about the end of the verse its over the limit

Read the above comment in bold regarding the comma and the "damage" part of the verse
