Something to live for.

Yo--
Give me a second, and I'll break down my life like a lesson..
I need music when I wake up, music when I'm stressing..
Its like an intermission to a sitcom of reality..
It casually captures me in its rhythem & rhapsody ..
Music has no nationality, no color or race..
It has steriotypes but everyones free to create..
It has no date, tracks are timeless everybody relates..
Lyricism is interlectual minds spilled on tape..
Music facilitates a lotta culture, and to me?
I cant get to sleep without writing a peice..
Dividing the peace, slicing the beef from emcees on the streets..
To entertainment halls, weekends or shows on the beach..
To having 1000 teens in tight jeans in your reach..
Its the season to teach the youth that beefin is weak..
Music's been speaking to me, now I seem eager to be..
The masiah of my own style, never seen as pety or cheap..
Cut that-- I'm ready to speak.. Like I said I got a lesson to teach..
And this is how it goes..

-|-|-|-

I grew up with music,
And through music I am myself..
Its the reasin I wake up,
Its the reason I stay in health..
I want you to imagine for one minute we lost our music..
And the world sat in silence, critical and abusive..
In a world where truths elusive, everybody wants new shit..
I kick back with my cd collection and bump tunes kid..
Because I got nothing to give whores,
I got my mic, my head phones
Music's something to live for..

"After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music. "
Aldous Huxley (1894 - 1963), "Music at Night", 1931

Thats what music is to me..

I can't hear it.....

Ya. I've seen this in a lot of topical battles. People search for every other word so they can use "impressive" vocab, and then the verse suffers and yet they still get votes. Go figure. If you just say what you feel, then your vocab will still be impressive. Look at anxiety's verses, his vocab was low but it was perfect in his verses.
