Exactly what Q said. The HIV virus is a latent retrovirus which basically means 1) It cannot be cured because of how the virus works. 2) Even IF you get tested today and it comes back negative, you could still have it but it hasn't begun reproducing YET.

i dont know if there is a cure for AIDS yet...but if and when one comes available prescription drug companies will buy the patent and supress the cure...
then they will come out with "treatments"...that get rid of the symptoms and give you a semi normal life...but that you have to take for the rest of your life...sort of like valtrex...but for AIDS... if they sell cure...they sell one bottle of pills per person with AIDS...if they sell treatment they sell thousands of bottles of pills per person with AIDS...its really a no-brainer as far as they are concerned... there are herbs that have actively been shown to kill herpes...and there are treatments that keep you from ever having outbreaks again (and this isnt bullshit...ask me and ill link you)...but prescription drug companies dont care...because they use herbs and other natural things which are unpatentable...and therefore unprofitable... the prescription drug companies are now lobbying the fda (which is funded almost exclusively BY prescription drug companies...look it up) and congress to reclassify herbs and minerals as drugs rather than food...and label them as such... it costs on average $100 million to get a drug through the clinical trials and tests necessary to put it on the market...which is only justified by the tens of BILLIONS of dollars that drug companies make after they get patents and fda approval... since you cant patent herbs or things that occur in nature...no herb company could possibly produce the $100 million needed to get the herbs through fda testing and onto the market...resulting in a COMPLETE removal of any kind of naturally occurring herbal medicine from the market...if you wanted to use an herb for medicinal purposes youd have to buy seeds and grow it yourself... you already arent allowed to tell anyone that an herb can cure a disease...thats why any bottle of herbs that even says "this MAY have been POSSIBLY shown to MAYBE help to fight _____" also says "these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA"...they arent allowed to advertise at all...or else the FDA will come in with guns and confiscate everything they have...that's why not a lot of people know about it and generally anyone claiming that an herb will cure something is looked at as crazy... which is exactly what the drug companies want... i will be more than happy to look up and give sources any parts of what i have just said that you disagree with...
