None of those guys will have the longevity that Face has, nor the consistency. If you disagree with me, pick up "The Fix", one of the few 5 mic albums he's put out, released in Fall of '02. It's got great blends of gangster rap, real talk, and even religion, not to mention some great guest appearances and production to match.

OutKast are southern legends as well, but not throughout their entire career. Around 2000, they developed what I call "Nas Disease", in which after the 3rd album, they start going downhill. For those of you planning to say "Nas is still dope so stfu", I'm talking about making quality albums, not just songs (the Nastradamus album was trash). So for their first 3 releases, OutKast were fucking golden.

Ludacris is another great one from the dirty, although he's really from my hometown. What makes Luda great is his creativity, mainly the ability to incorporate humor and still making it dope. And the diversity of his flow is rediculous. Every beat he raps on, even if it doesn't come out as a good track, he rides perfectly. The Red Light District was just about average though, but hopefully Release Therapy will make up for it.

Little Brother I haven't really heard much of, but what I've heard I like, and 9th Wonder is a god on the beats.

But what do I think about Scrappy, T.I and all them? That they're all pretty much the same, and wont be around in 5 years...unless they fused together and made some ultra faux-gangsta rapper whom every TRL fan in the US fell in love with. But that would just be another sign of the approaching appocalypse.

Three 6 Mafia would of been a even better group if they wasnt a bunch of dumbass and droped and lost their best members due to money issues. ^^^9th has alotta truths in his post.

never heard Little Brother or T-Roc

Z-Ro is FUCKing trash, Chamillionaire, I been heaing that he's tyte but the single he has out now sucks...his voice is deep but the way he says certain things annoys the FUCK outtah me, but it's most CERTAINLY a ginormous plus that he doesn't really have a Southern accent...thank the Lawd

I never judge on best or worse cept if you just really suck
(Jeezy, Three6 Mafia, Lil' Flip, Paul Wall etc.)

my faves are T.I., Lil' Wayne, Ludacris and Outkast
(never listened to Scarface, but I didn't like "My Block"..beat was too annoying)

to me everyone else pretty much blows...I don't like UGK cuz PimpC is a FUCKin' retard, don't like Bun-B's accent and his singles ain't 'bout shit either...Slim Thug is actually decent and not just for a houston rapper" either

anybody listen to Devin The Dude? my CEO told me he cold N he been out for years N years just never got his sine cuz his lbel continuously screws his ass over, but I never really heard 'em

P.S. anyone on Swisha House or formerly on Swisha House pretty much blows

Word, Devin's dope. He's got a Too Short-esque nympho edge to his lyrics.

I dont' listen to much southern rappers, but my favorite would have to be T.I. I didn't know who T.I. was until I bought Urban Legends and I was like "Daaaamnnnn this Cd is Fiyah!"

Although I dunno why a skinny dude like himself calls himself the King. I mean maybe the Southern King of Rap would be better. But if some Mike Tyson-like dude comes up to him and says he ain't the king... things might get messy.

Three 6 Mafia back when they was Prophet Posse was nice as hell because thats when they had all they're best members. Now the people who they got are trash. they gettin showed out by a Cracked headed pale ass white boy. Lil Whyte Needs to leave. But T-Rock is sick as hell. Most intellegent rapper in the south. Got the Multies down back,Metas,Fast as shit when it comes to rappin at times and can do it using big ass words. Dude got a nice vocab. And he be bangin with imagery in his flows at times. Nigga da nicest rapper in the south. He just need to do it major instead of independent.
