EXACTLY, because as far as I'm concerned, APE is not a synonym for Ugly. What it was, was a disrespect of Black/African features--i.e., broad/flat noses, full lips, and dark skin. I don't see Red Bull calling an "ugly" white person an APE. It's disrespectful, PERIOD.

LARGE/FULL LIPS


Serena has a typical black/African nose = broad...

She has dominant features, such as a a prominent face = African features

Redbull...you obviously ARE NOT attractive to those AFRICAN features = FINE

HOWEVER, to say "Serena looks like an APE" is racist because it's not a RIP on her being UGLY, it's a RIP on AFRICAN/BLACK features which is RACIST.
