Appoc, the point of annonymous voting is, 1-2 is notorious for people just looking at each other's votes. The good heads don't do it, but a lot of newbs will read a battle, see who the "good heads" voted for, and then vote for that person. With annoymouse voting, that wouldn't happen and other people's influence wouldn't occur.
