and i agree that it is a word that (for a perfectly good reason) should be understood as a deeply rooted offensive term. i just think that, regardless of whether people know that the individual white person isn't "racist" or not (depending on your definition of that word), they still sound ignorant and stupid saying it... and its not THAT hard of a concept to conceive as to why black people feel comfortable calling each other the word, but don't feel comfortable being called it by whites.

It would be alot simpler if black people just stopped calling eachother the word. Calling eachother ther word isn't gonna make you forget the meaning of it. All it does is cause alot of tension in most cases. It eases the tension when its already there, but when it isn't there it definetly makes people uncomfortable and divides people imo. People just need to learn to acknowledge something that hurts themselves(or others) without having to repeatedly put it out there constantly. That shit just causes unneccecary problems.
