I would say that this is a valid point because Paul does write in 1 Corinthians about orderly worship. So perhpas that is correct.

And I THINK Paul wrote it to Timothy so it wasn't exactly to any church in particular.

I'm no Bible scholar, but I would think that it has to do with the role that women played during that time. And those times compared to now are definitely different. So in my opinion, these "rules" applied to society in those ancient days whereas society today is much much more different.
