I have listened to 50 Cent....I got thru about 4 or 5 of his songs and then I had to turn it off.....It was all of the same repetitive shit........I didn't mean it that you have to write like Aesop or Atmosphere in order to be considered "real." I'm talking about artists that sell an image. That is all 50 Cent is... a motherfucking gangsta image. Why do you think he is always wearing that vest? To sell off an image. I wouldn't be surprised if all of the little 13 year old wannabes got bullet proof vests for Christmas just so they can wear them around and look like complete idiots. I mean seriously, listen to C-Rayz Walz, Murs, MF Doom and then tell me that 50 Cent and G-Unit actually hold a morsel of talent. Their lyrics are complete garbage. Even their fans recognize this. They say shit like, "Yeah, his lyrics suck but his beats are dope." The motherfucker has nothing to do with the beats!

You are right though, music is totally one hundred percent objective. I guess I'm just looking for dope and totally mind-blowing lyrics and originality. And by dope lyrics I don't mean Aesop lyrics 100%.....I mean new and original lyrics....

But you cannot put Get Rich or Die Trying next to Ravipops or Shadows on the Sun and then say Get Rich or Die Trying is doper.......
