As for RnR I couldn't care less ..

He wasn't captured his was saved. In one of the Isreali Intellegence reports I seen, it references a theory that is gaining momemtum. In the Spider hole that Saddam was rescued from, may be a sort of confinment or make shitf prison. Saddam had no way to escape the hole on his own, he would have needed assistance from someone to leave the hole. So as the theory states, he might have been under isloation or confinement by those leading the insurgent movement. He had no maps or radio communications, so the attacks that seemed to be controlled by him, couldn't be. Former regime officials or Foreing Nationals could have been holding Saddam against his will. He admidiately surrendered to US troops with out confrataion. This goes against the CIA's charecter profiling of Saddam, he would have surely went out in a blaze of bullets and gained Mayrter status, unless he was being held against his will. I just find it interesting, since I do know he was forced back into Iraq after fleeing to Syria. Baath party officials in Syria, (ruling party) convencied him to lead the rebal attacks and fight for the cause. He could be just a pawn in someone else's grand design. Very interesting, enough that US intellegence community's are hot with chatter of this news. I assume many new avenues are going to open along those lines. I am swammped today with work, but I will keep an ear out on this subject matter.
