The ability to manipulate a huge crowd, let alone a previously free conutry is in fact a very important skill, and only the most intelligent people can do it.

Preformers do it all the time.. Look at groupies

Every person need leadership, every person needs some sence of following, we all hold are own flaws or insercuritys which in it self is a flaw.. This is how humans were built
I see it as this, look at humans. Ok now look at players, pimps, people that use people..
All hold the common bond of manipulation. to say hilter was a Manipulater, YES that would be a correct statment.
I disagree with your statment because i feel that the only thing hilter held was a thought he helped others to think, egaurdless if it were right or not. Look at guys and how they make girls belive anythign they want, it was simple a matter of trust, as well a exploiting ons fellings towards another race and lower poverty. What better way to say HEY, look it we get rid of them theres more for us..

that was the basics of hilters thoughts when it comes down to it i think. As well as a simple passion it hate for the country, but it COULD have been an act..

Alls, LoL this is funny.. HILTER well the missle used in WW2 were basic, in short they were a shoot and hit type of thing, wher you just point them were you wanted.. landing how far they went, hitting targets.. didnt really work well. A man introduced a type of guidence system for these, offerd to hilter, but he declined, and only bought a thousand.
The allies and the us picked the rest up, and severly helped the war to bring us closer to discovering the nuke. hilter was power tripping thinking he didnt need those, and decided to keep the money. Hilter was pithedic, andn him being called a genius is stupid i think.Calling him a genius is the same as calling mason a genius... (take charles OR marlyn)

Anyways um, depends on what your saying is intelligent yeamean?

Um everyone at Mensa (Duh)

Blah Im still not calling him a genius but this was foudn in the Mensa genius quiz book,
Quote:
amung the manycharacteristics that go into defining intelligence is the ability to manipulate facts.this is not to sugjest streching or coloring truth. It refers ratherto the ability to exaime a quantity of imformation and arrange the elements in such a way as to arrive at a conclussion,a decisionor a solotion. Often, such manipulation sidonein a way that we are barley conscious of it. Its called intuition

I tend to find it some what self indulving to have a book by mensa run along the same path of explaining inteligence as i did and i hadnt even gotten to that part of the book, truth be told i hadnt read more than three pages.

^As you said, his manipulation was basic. He said what he felt, the others reacted. Maybe he did ammend it A BIT now and again for effect. But overall, it was something simple yet powerful which the masses of Germany craved for. Their saviour from the duldrums of extreme depression. From the humiluation of being stripped of their national identity. Many felt they were walking around naked. He was offering them fine clothes and then some...

The level of intelligence to manipulate the way he did was not as high as some people think. Well, probably not. As he could've been 'putting it on', on purpose. In which case...he still wasn't a genius. It was just an ingenius thing to do. A 'non-genius' can have moments of genius. But still not be a genius.

By the way, everyone at Mensa? Er, i know some people at Mensa. Not all of them are as sharp as one may think. Mensa has its flaws you know...IQ tests have their flaws.

Exactly.

I could not agree more.

And I think the idea of labeling a person with some sort of number is overrated.

these are the peope i think are the smartest, taken from my point of view, not anybody else's:

mozart, the man was a genius, every piece of music he touched was great. (i actually like some classical music)

Shakesphere, he knew how to play on emotions, but considering the time period, an what we 'now' know about human behavior, he may of been pretty advanced for his time,

the firsts intelects,
imagine back when the goverment was first formed, an they had everyone under control, (an authoritarian rule, i think) and the views an ideals were followed by everyone in the country. a peaceful country were every one knows where they stand, an the one day someone tells somebody else something!! that completely changes their perspective on the goverment, an they begin to realize what the goverment is actually doing. And these people challenge so much that they are considered threats to the goverment!! being the first 'thinker' ever, would be a man/woman of genius stature.

i know there are more smart people, but i cant think of them at the moment!!
