man, the only crew I ever had mad love for was my old crew I.A. We were fuckin beasts and dominated entire boards in weeks. We actually had a unity beyond "hey, we rap, maybe we should for a crew!". We actually had a purpose. I don't see crews like that anymore. Everyone just wants an "ill crew" and don't focus on the symbiotism of the crew to begin with so they'll throw together all sorts of random people and dudes they never spoke to ever in persuit of that and usually end up with junk.
