Thas why Text is looked down upon, ask yourself 'How was text created?' Obviously some person online, didnt have a mic but loved to rap, so he started typin it on a site with friends.. which gave the opportunity for people that CANT rap to "fake" it.

Texting will always be lower on the food chain, because you dont see emcees practicin to get better at text.

Music is Music, thas what I love to make.. Im a lyrical poet. Text makes no sense to someone who is an emcee cause of the music.. so I dont hate it but I see no point for it an I will never do it.

Stereotypical Textcees ruin it for the rest of them anyway... because they make it out to be an artform or somethin to brag about. YOU CAN ONLY BRAG ABOUT TEXT ONLINE... so who the fuck cares if you're 'better than me' at text, I dont care to be good at it.

u can't brag about text...but u can't brag about being the best at audio on the net neither.Real life performing is the only way to be a real emcee.And if the people doing text didn't care about music..they wouldn't be doin it at all.Seriously...it's lyrics.Still a part of music.Not complete..but still a part.And it does take some bit of talent to be good at text.If not..then why isnt everyone else good at it?

This thread is about text. Aint no one in here claimin to be a God at audio online..

My music that I post online, stays online, I never play a battle track when I preform or play a collab I did online at a party.

The music I make offline, is what Im proud of, when I get a crowd of kids Ive never met before signin my lyrics when Im on stage, thas what matters.

If you text, then keep it online an dont act liek you're better at life than someone who sucks at it.

I dont brag about anything I do online, offline.. I mean shit I dont even brag about any of my music offline cause Im havin to much fun while doin it to care who likes me an who doesnt.

I have friends that always check my sites an put my music on CDs, theres been occasions where at a party someone played my music an had the whole party beggin to be my friend, I felt like an idiot cause it was some gay shit I had done with another online emcee.

I talk shit online cause beef is fun on the net, its what keeps me here, only thing worthwhile online is battling.

But offline, I keep it humble cause I aint the best out there, I know that, but I love to do what I do an Ima be critical of the ones that arent good at it an ruin it.

i don't brag at text, for some reason people say that i apparently think i am dope and think i am a GOD at text, i have no clue where they get this from

but yea, dropping songs on the net and dissing people in audio battles aint mean ure a real emcee like deranged said

audio is good in its own right
and text is good in its own right

and to say that being good at audio means you are dope and that text takes no skill at all and is easy then why is it that Acuity is dope at audio but sucks major ass at text.

Cos a lot of text on this site has nothing to do with gangsta shit.

Text is simplified rap... over the years it grew into something different, by having its own specifics and shit. Its a part of rap in the community, and rap is a part of hip hop.

text battling is easier and i can do a verse in like 5 minutes so no trouble

audio takes longer, and i aint got time for that
