I dunno, I was reading a while back on some string theory shit and they had a diagram of what the other dimensions look like, and it was like a swirl, that builds everything... a whole bunch of shit I didn't understand, but basically they broke it down kinda like you did where you said if a dimension had no up and down, and we started jumping infront of them... think of it like, if we lived in a 2 dimensional universe like on a peice of paper, where there was only an X and a Y axis... and there was a creature that only existed on the x axis... if you began moving along the Y axis you would dissapear. Same idea... there's lots of things that are unexplained, that are here one second and gone the next (ghosts?)... it could just be something traveling along an axis we have absolutely no concept of... Think of a bad trip on acid... when you can't handle whats going on... it'd be like that only maybe 1000 times worse... I aint ready for that.

I think theres infinite solutions for every problem, its just finding the resources. I'm not sure any breakthroughs will occur in our lifetime, but something big is coming.
