So? Dressing like a slut at school is against the whore culture, but no one cares bout that. If people would stop saying everything people do is to harm someone then we'd all get along. Freedom of speech has been abused in the past decade.

LMAO, your biggest fucking retard on this site. You actually play yourself off like you know something about hip hop. Your just a fucking stupid idiot from Arizona who doesn't know the half about anything of real hip hop substance. Kid, I've done more, know more, and made more moves in hip hop than you could possibly ever do in your lifetime. So next time you direct your comments to me, save it for a 14 yr old kid who doesn't know any better. Because in my book you have no credibility... Get off the net MR. 10,000 posts and go find out what real hip hop culture is about. You joined this site after me and have over 8,000 more posts than me. Go outside, breath some fresh air, better yet go to a hip hop party or club, get in a cypher, step out the net world GEEK!

its pretty retarted... but "the man" will continue holding the "hip-hop" culture down till we start a minority league... and get a couple Super Zab Juddas in the owners boxes...

Zabby wouldnt make players wear uniforms...

It's more culturally targeted, the culture which the whole league is almost based off of, and that's what's upsetting alot of people.

And the terms wigga and n***a. My point is that the only reason people care bout this is that it is the popular way people dress and act now. Shut up and go play the sport you are paid for. Stop trying to make money and get laid off the stuff you have, actually do your job and be a real role model for kids. People say only rap makes people dress like this? No, it's the sports players, it's the shows, and the media saying it's cool. If you said it wasn't cool on MTV for 5 years, dressing in baggy clothes and "bling" would be done.

People dressed in baggy clothes cuz it fit them, that's why. Then people started to act like it's cool to be poor, thus leading to the media agreeing, now we can't turn around until at least 3 generations say it is not cool. If you dress in baggy clothes, have your pants down past your waist, brag on your tracks, and wear flashy shoes and jewelry then in my eyes, you cause the problems you complain of.

which I would accept, IF THE LEAGUE DIDNT MARKET THE IMAGE THEMSELVES!!!!

The players should at least be able to live it.

History doesn't matter here, the fact is the league NOW is highly dependent on hip-hop culture in itself.

Because, if it weren't for "their players" wearing that clothing in public and on the way to and from appearences, they wouldn't have nearly the support, money, or interest that they do in the league.

I'm really trying to say this without sounding rude b/c I'm not trying to be rude at all, but if you don't live in the U.S. then you really can't argue this. At least not the marketing part, b/c you don't know how it is.
