So because you believe its not a sin, its not a sin? If it says lying is bad but you think its right, that mean's its okay to lie? So when the bible says murder is a sin yet you think murder is okay because you believe its okay than its not a sin because you say its not a sin? Because you think its okay does not mean it is okay. These things that are written in the Bible are written to help us as well. For ex.

It says dont lie. Why? Lying isn't good period. Keep lying and it will come back to haunt you. If you dont care, than people will see you as a liar and who would trust you at that point? Thats why it says don't lie for your own benefit.

Porn, it talks about how that is wrong and not good for you. why? Porn is entertaining but also causes you to lust things in the world of fantasy. causing you to live in a world of fantasy to the point you would go to video's to feel content. Yeah Porn makes you horny and feels great to watch. But at the end, would you want everyone at work to know you watched that? What if they all knew? Yeah its normal, but what about to all the women you might want to date? They would get turned off, and you know they would. Why? Because it's not right.

Adultery: It talks about how thats wrong int he Bible. Why?!? Because you're hurting the one you loved and promised to only love until death does you part.

The bible is not judgmental. I never judged anyone, its not my job to do that. Who doesn't sin? Everyone sin's but its up to you if you want to try your best to repent from it. The things in the Bible isn't there to show us how good we can be but to show us how bad we are. That's awesome that you want to help other people and respect another man 100% even if their opinion differs. Thats great that you will always be caring and helpful. I never said anyone is horrible. All i have been doing is rebuking what everyone has been saying. They said "This" about the Bible, when it really meants "that."

I have double checked myself. NO ONE is perfect. No one can ever live a perfect life. But it does that mean you can't try to live as perfect as God would love to see you live?

i just have a quick question... Q, you are a christian than you believe that Jesus forgives you of your sins against him and the father. But also by being a christian you know that you will not be absolved from your sins unless you are TRULY sorry for your sins... and as i was tought in my 12 years of catholic school, if you repeat an action of sin than you are not TRULY sorry for that sin, and hence are not TRULY forgiven.....

i mean you can say your sorry but if you repeat the action you are not really sorry and to think you are sorry is lying to yourself, but as you would know...cant lie to god... so in fact you are not forgiven for your sins... unless you stop lying to yourself and become truly sorry for your ways.....

Whose repeating an action? I mentioned this about 4 pages ago when I marked the distinction between us being sinners by nature (Original sin caused by Adam's fall) and sinning by practice...

I agree that sinning by practice, meaning not being contrite for sin, will bring judment and God hates it...

That SHOULDN'T be the life of a Christian...

Adam said earlier that he fornicates, lies, and that he makes no qualms about it...That = practicing sin...

A true believer will sin, be contrite, but STRIVE toward being more like Christ...not boast in rebellion.

So, again, I ask...where are your assumptions coming from? I don't practice sin. But, when I do fall, I thank God that he's given us Christ who is the propitiation for our sin...by the shedding of his blood.

So you're telling me this. You have lied. You have prolly accidently stolen a pen from work or school. You have looked at a women with lust and even watched porn. And you were prolly sorry for your sin. Yet, you will always do it accidentally. You will always commit sin. Everyone sin's. You will always sin. Its impossible to not sin. God will "always" forgive you when you ask for forgiveness but truly mean it. So since you are a catholic. You know that none of your sins are forgiven because most of the sins you are sorry for will be committed again.
