If contending for the faith isnt your call...then DON'T DO IT...

The bible tells us in 2 timothy to REBUKE...encourage...TEACH...in season...and out of season...meaning...when it's popular...and when it's not...

You are Catholic...and that has something to do with your belief system...fair enough...

But, it is not only the RIGHT, but DUTY of every believer in Jesus Christ is to spread God's word to unbelievers...

There are many ways to do that...And, the way I addressed Adam and others here is what God instructed me to do...

You don't have to like it...it's not your call...

Furthermore, not every situation calls for certain things...

Paul says in 1 corinthians 9 that "I have become ALL THINGS to ALL MEN"...so that..."I may be able to save some"

That means Paul met people at their level of Faith...

If I were witnessing to a 10 year old...I'd talk a ten year old's language...

If I'm witnessing to a 22 year old named ADAM on Rapverse, Imma meet him at his level to spread God's word...

And remember, much of what happened in this thread was planting seeds...perhaps someone will come along and water...but, as 1 corinthians 3 says "GOd provides the increase"...meaning he does the growing.



We act bold and stupid for everything else in life that doesn't matter...Imma act "bold" and "stupid" for God...Crazy faith.

What gives us the right? Okay first of all. The Bible says make disciples of Jesus. What does he mean by that? Does he mean dont do anything? OR actually spread the word? Hmmmm. Only Jesus can save them. We never said we can save them. Jesus saves them, but we deliver the word and they choose to believe and accept Jesus into their life or not. What gives us the right to try to save people? Um God. Tell me this. What gives priest's the right to say "God has forgiven you." Why go to priests and ask for forgiveness when the Bible clearly states that only Jesus can forgive them and only confess TO JESUS. Not the priest. What gives catholic priests the right?

Exactly...not to mention in Matthew 23 where Jesus says "Call no man on Earth FATHER"...and the FIRST thing you say at confessional is "Bless me FATHER, for I have sinned..." hmm


Well...let me be real right now...through all this talk...through all this speak of holiness and righteousness, we've been sinning in the meantime like Dabatos said...

No one is perfect...

But God is able to purge us...and cleanse us from our sin...

Even if we don't have a MAJoR slip up...we're still imperfect beings saved by a perfect Savior.

The analogy most often given is of a bird hovering above a nest...You can't control the bird hovering, but you can stop it from landing..i.e., you can't stop the temptation, but you can control whether or not you ACT on it.

If a person is a fornicator (GAY OR STRAIGHT) then...they may be tempted to "get wit" somethin nice that they see...

However, there's nothing that can make you pull your PENIS out your pants and stick it in...That's YOUR CHOICE.

It's time to grow up people...y'all are grown now...not 13 year old boys with no self control.

So...don't confuse constant TEMPTATION with constant SIN. They're not the same thing...and being tempted often isn't "living in sin". Not the same.

Okay, showing no respect. So, by being open minded, when you say its okay to have sex before marriage I should say sure thats okay?
