aiight, I can agree that there are certain drawbacks you have immediately been given, being black...I acknowledge and accept that but not as an excuse to do bad, it should be the reason we do BETTER...repirations won't fix the way white people view black people, they'll just think we're lazy and want a hand out which would bring how far we've come on the fronts of "equality" backwards...

far as spending money on wars, of course there's better things we could spend money on, the school system is where money should be going...up until this year I thought school was free for everybody then I started talking to my home girl in Chicago and one in Indiana, they have to pay like a G a year to RENT text books every year that they don't get to take home, they pay to RENT a class set of books...I've always been led to believe that everyone has it like we did in New york and here in Texas, you only pay for a book if you lose or damage it...but that's not the case...schools up there are making people pay for books they can only 1/2 use and then school end up in debt, where's the money going? certainly not to the students' education...now THAT you can "blame" on the white man, then again parents can change shit if they fuss and complain, that's how all change starts, you gotta make people AWARE of what's going on...you can put that on the white man's hand if you choose to be again, it's ultimately your fault if you didn't say anything to change the situation it's always gonna stay the same or get worse for people that come after you

P.S. generally "the government" and the "white man" are one in the same lmao..black people don't run this country, rich white men do..they just use black people to get votes and save face so we can say we got some kinda foot in the door or some shit...it's all an illusion

being a hard worker doesn't guaruntee that you'll be rich abut being black doesn't guaruntee that all white people will try and hold you down either...everyone has their own circumstances and situations that are different, nothing is concrete, it's all subjective because each person is different

my mother has been a single parent with no help from me and my brother's father, since I was 12 years old, I'm 23 now...we lived in the projects when we were in New York when we had both our parents when we were a lot younger, but since we've been here in Houston, I haven't ever even been TO the 'hood...as a single parent she's on a higher level than some people I know with both parents readily available to them, living under the same roof...if you have your priorities right you can't ever tell me that you won't be successful...she's done some college, but doesn't have a degree, she's stuck in a job that's prolly dead end, been doing the same job for 11 years, but in that time she's bought a house...it's not easy, she has to juggle and pay bills late and shit...we were on the verge of losing the house if her payment was even like ONe day late

but as a SINGLE parent she bought a house, that's more than a lot of people I know living with both parents that been living in the 'hood all their life or renting a house from someone else...you can't tell me that "white people" are holding down every person in the 'hood from getting to the level of buying a house and shit like that...and I mention buying a house because that's an example of something a lot of people strive to do, own a home

so like I said, if you work hard enough for something, you'll get it...doesn't have to be anything major, but something...you're never gonna get everything you want, no matter what race you are, but don't blame it on another race

the U.S. government = white people
