Your father has just passed away. He was a very private man and you didn't know him well. When you where a kid you noticed this chest he kept in the back of your parents bedroom closet. Curious of its contents you tried over the years to open it, but the chest would not open. Upon his death, your mother gives you this plain looking key and tells you "Your father's legacy falls to you." Racing towards the chest you wonder what it could possibly contain.

John Clinton, only child, has led a normal life. Nothing exciting, nothing depressing, but that changes all of a sudden, when his father passes away. His mother hands him a key. Not very special looking, nothing fancy, just a regular, brass key. He soon thinks if that’s the key to his father’s Chest, in which will unlock all the secrets to his father’s life.

It sucks; today’s the worst day of my life
Funeral with a closed coffin, he always hated the light
Constantly complaining, always saying he might
Leave my mom for another woman, I hated their fights
But now he’s gone and I stay praying at night
A Young alcoholic, drinking keeps me laying in fright
I’m awakened by my mom, holding a key in her right
Her left hand is held out, taking me into the night
She told me “Your Father’s Legacy Falls to You,” she started
In the attic now, I’m tensing up, painful hearted
In all this love and care, hate’s bombarded
To this one room, where the chest of secrets is guarded
Now I’m anxious to open it, but I have to wait ‘til the morning
I was raised in a house which soon turned to hatred and scorning
The death of my father, had my mom crying and mourning
Soon I was saying, “Momma, it’s time to move on.”
She went to the other room, kept screaming his name
“Willy, I miss you, why’d you leave me in pain!”
I sat there, she watched me creep up ways
Then I left to check the chest, “Mom, leave it to me!”
I put the key in. What am I getting myself into?
It’s too early to peek due to the hell that I been through
I’ll tell ‘em I’ve seen you dad, I’ll always be true
Everywhere I go, you know I’m praying for you

Now I’m opening the wood chest, the copper clasps squeak a bit
First thing I pulled out, -A Belt Someone been Beating With-
-Handcuffs-? What did he need to do with them?
Oh jeez! -A box of Trojans ©- I see he had his stash
Took out a plastic object, I don’t know what it is though
