K.O.R's vocal editing process for Acid Pro 4.0

IP: 2821 5AA0

OK...This tutorial will help you get better quality with Acid Pro 4.0

1.)OK, when you are done recording your track click the Track FX (little green shit that looks like this -D-) Now Add Reverrb to it...now when you've added reverb were it says preset click Medium Room, When you selected it go down and you see "reverberation mode" and select long hall..When you've done that look to the left and you should see "Early Reflection Style" and select mode 6(36 ms)..Under that you see "decay time" and put it to 1.0. and under that u see Pre-Decay and put it to 24...Now Preset this bitch

2.)now click track FX again and add "Paragraphic Equalizer", Ok when you do that add "[Sys] Hiss Cut (cut above 8 kHz by 6DB). Now you should see a huge green graph peice of shit. if you look to the left you see to long bars that you fix up. Look at "Dry Out" and put it to 0.0 dB.Ok now look down under the big green bar graph. their should be 4 of these their. (starting from left to right)At the first on put the Horizontal bar to -0.b dB, the next one put it to -0.9, the next one put -1.0dB, and the last one (assuming your at the last one the the right) put 0.5.

3.)now once more click the Track FX once more. Add "Graphic Dynamics". From their for the preset add [Sys]Compressor/Gate", when you do that look to the left and u should see 1 horizontal bar. Lower it down to -4.0dB.

4.)Now click Track FX. select and Add Track EQ. when you do this look all the way down and you should see "1,2,3,4" make sure that 1 is selected. when you do this look up and you should see three things that say "Frequency (HZ), Gain (dB), and Rolloff (dB/oct)". put Frequency to 50. ok now put Gain to 1.5. and last but not least look at Rolloff and put 24. now look to the left and u should see something checked name "enabled" under their is a marque. now put it to High Shelf.

5.)Now click track FX and add Multie-Band Dynamics. u should see a marquee and chose it "[Sys] Reduce loud plosives" ok..when you do this look to the left and u see 2 horizontal graphs that start from green to red. click Input if its not already their. (if it changes to out put that put it back to input).

thats all good but this isnt an exact science. This should put you in the ballpark. Maybe you should explain what some of these FX are actually doing so they can make adjustments to fit their audio. Nice work tho. Ima try some of your settings next time and see how it sounds. I have my own presets but I always end up changing them over and over again. good work dawg
