Hey-- i read the sticky and bookmarked it about all the software/sound librarys and whanot-- but me and my brother talked about doing a few rap songs just for fun at my friend's studio, but i wanna make some beats and whanot first, but i just wanted to ask what would be good (programs, etc.) for someone who doesn't really know what they're doing and is doing it for fun. the main influence would be NWA style stuff. slow, but good paced and something you can bob your head too. what would be some good BPM? i pick up computer programs fast so just sitting around and messing around with it one day would probably be best.
thanks a bunch. - andre |

lmfao. u don't rap?, but u wanna learn. ummm. fruity loops isn't such an easy program to use. i don't care if u have a degree in computer science. but it's da best one for a pc. if ur using a mac, then go wit reason. I use fruity loops, i think it's da best out there. tempo for nwa may be between 80-90bpm. most hip hop is between 70-97bpm.
