LBL Championship Match: 1. Roger Glocks (16-1) vs 2. Comedian (6-0)

Ok battle. Glocks dropped first and came alright. Mandate bar was decent and Capcom was pretty dope. Comedian had a foil your plans bar that I liked. This battle was pretty uneventful to me really. A lot of obvious stuff. Roger Glocks won 4-0.

LBL Contendership Match: 3. Ace Heratoga (3-1) vs 4. DaTrusHurtz (16-1)

Pretty close battle. Both came decent. DaTrus dropped first and he had a Hera line that was cool along with a Shaq bar that was good. Ace had a chain smoker bar that was fucking dope and a store nuts bar that was good. Coulda gone either way really, more people felt DaTrus and he won 3-0.

Iron Man Match - Erel Avent vs Rush Lingo

Double no-show.

Microphone Battle - Nick Fletcher vs Stanza

Don’t ask me how I came up with this battle, I just did. It turned out pretty decent though. Basically both the battlers were microphones. Nick Fletcher was a Shure SM58 and Stanza was a Rode NT1A. Yeah, weird. But as I said it came out alright. Nick dropped pretty good. He had a cross the rode bar that was cool, the rest was decent but not quote worthy. Wasn’t feeling Stanza’s verse much really, better than what he’s dropped before though. Nick Fletcher won 4-0.

Another battle where I disagree with who won. I thought grams came pretty cool. The subway bar was dope as fuck and the stuffing the turkey bar was funny as well. Te Ora had nothing I liked really, a lot worse than he’s dropped before. But yeah, Te Ora got it in the end and won 8-0.

7. Stanza (7-10) vs 8. Erel Avent (11-4)

BWAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA! That was what I did when I opened this battle, shit was hilarious. Stanza comes in and drops like 26 lines or some shit, Erel comes in and drops like 12, all cocky, thinking he’s gonna win. Then Stanza flawlesses him 8-0! Lmfao. I’ve given Erel shit for it cos it’s funny. Luckily for Erel and his ego, he noticed that Stanza had only voted on 3 battles so he pointed this out and I had to give Stanza the loss and Erel the win cos its in the rules. But as Stanza voted on 3 and was winning by so many, I gave him the win but moved him down the rankings.

9. Sonny Dimebags (15-7) vs 10. Joe Native (2-3)

Ooooh, upset number 2. Joe Native took this easily, but I see it real different. I thought Sonny got him pretty easily. His verse was just better, it hit harder and all his bars were nicer. Seems like the voters disagreed. I wasn’t feeling anything from Joe’s verse really. But yeah, Joe Native won 4-0.

11. Sir Smash'Alot (2-2) vs 12. Nick Fletcher (2-0)

Onesided again. Nick dropped pretty decent, nothing amazing, but enough to win. He had a LBL cypher bar that was hilarious and an Alot bar that I liked. Sir didn’t really have much. He’s most definitely elevated quite a lot from when he entered the league though, and it’s clear that he has potential, he just needs to keep on writing and then he’ll become good. Nick Fletcher won 8-0.

I wasn’t feeling this battle. TEF has elevated quite a bit since he joined the league, but he only had a good head bar that I thought was decent. Black had nothing I really liked, he seems the type with potential though. In that he doesn’t write like a newb but he seems quite new, therefore elevation is probably imminent. Onesided battle, TEF was just better and won 4-0.

15. Phil Benjamin (2-1) vs 16. MoneyMaker (1-2)

BATTLE OF THE 17-1’S! Glocks beat DaTrus for the title waaay back and he’s held on to it ever since. If Glocks wins this he breaks Butler’s record of 6 weeks consistently holding the title! If DaTrusHurtz wins this he becomes the first ever 2x champ! It’s all on the line! It’s all hanging out! THE LBL COULD EXPLODE!!!!!! Both have good reasons to win this, very valid record breaking reasons as well.
